The CIPBA is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, and we rely heavily on the help of our friends and colleagues. Dozens of design professionals, students, and other supporters gave generously of their time and resources to make the 2008 Chicago International Poster Biennial an enormous success. We are grateful.
If you live in the Chicago area and would like to become a CIPBA volunteer for the 2010 CIPB, send us an email and let us know. You can be part of the Biennial experience in many ways, including program coordination, event and exhibit set-up, working on event crews, archiving, workshop assistance, PR and a lot more. Let us know if you have a special skill or desire, and we’ll find a way for you to help out that benefits the cause. Of course, most of you will want to volunteer to design the next Biennial poster. We understand! But maybe you can start by helping us hang some others first.
CIPBA can also benefit from your donation of goods or in-kind services. Do you have an extra flat file that is in good condition? We can use it to help store the hundreds of posters in our collection. How about a spare laptop, printer, or office supplies? We’d put them to good use. If you have a big truck, own a mailing house, or you’re a caterer… whatever… we can use your help.
From time to time, we will post specific volunteer opportunities and requests to this page, so check back. Thank you.
